Job description
Position Overview
This role is within the Financial Systems Department of the General Fund Business Office Division, part of the Organization Change Management Branch at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and estimate resource needs for both existing and proposed systems, including acquisition program changes that may influence resource allocation, lifecycle costs, and related impacts.
- Conduct detailed research to gather diverse data involving cost, scheduling, and performance for aviation acquisition weapons system programs.
- Perform thorough analyses to understand relationships involving system parameters, scheduling shifts, and cost implications.
- Advise senior leadership by preparing, documenting, validating, and presenting resource requirements related to assigned projects and programs.
- Apply sophisticated mathematical, economic, operations research, and computer modeling techniques to complete analytical tasks.
- Interpret and apply policies and procedures issued by higher authorities to determine their influence on aviation acquisition weapons system needs.
- Develop comprehensive technical reports, oral presentations, and documentation to inform stakeholders about the status, challenges, timelines, and costs of aviation acquisition programs.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is from 99,800 to 154,280 per annum.
