Job description

Overview

The Production Setup Associate plays a crucial role in supporting production by gathering necessary materials and aiding the flexographic press operator with fundamental press setup tasks.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Compensation for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and returning production supplies such as inks (including mixing), dies, and other miscellaneous materials for designated presses.
  • Providing assistance to the press operator in basic setup procedures for flexographic presses.
  • Cleaning and maintaining press equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Managing trash collection and stocking supplies at assigned presses.

Preferred Traits and Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere to standardized work instructions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 months experience in a general warehouse setting.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular prolonged standing and repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for manipulating objects and controls.
  • Required ability to walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Visual abilities including close and distance vision and the capacity to adjust focus to inspect materials and products.
  • Must be capable of working safely in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
