Production Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking seasoned Production Operators specialized in tyre manufacturing with 7 to 10 years of practical experience. The role demands expertise in handling Banbury/internal mixing machines, thorough knowledge of mixing procedures, machine parameters, quality assurance, and safety protocols. Applicants must hold a diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related technical field.

Key Duties

• Manage and supervise the operation of Banbury/internal mixing equipment used in tyre production.
• Adhere strictly to established mixing formulations, batch sequences, and operational parameters.
• Continuously track critical variables such as mixing duration, temperature, pressure, and rotor velocity.
• Ensure precise weighing and proper charging and discharge of raw materials.
• Maintain uniformity and quality in rubber compound production.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and mixing procedures.
• Detect and report any irregularities to Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams for prompt resolution.
• Accurately document production activities and machine performance.
• Comply with SOPs, safety measures including use of PPE, 5S methodology, and housekeeping protocols.
• Strive to meet production goals while ensuring the quality standards are not compromised.

Preferred Machine Proficiency

• Experience with Banbury GK320 – HF / Kobelco machines.
• Experience with Banbury F305 – HF / Kobelco machines.
• Familiarity with Tangential or Internal Mixers.
