Production Operator

Job Overview

The role involves assembling and installing various electronic components following detailed customer specifications laid out in build instructions. This position requires adherence to quality standards and operational guidelines to ensure product consistency and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound unpacking tasks including removal of packaging materials, capturing serial numbers, labeling, repacking, and other preparatory duties for manufacturing processes.
• Assemble simple sub-assemblies as part of the production process.
• Strictly comply with detailed build instructions, industry best practices, and ISO procedures to maintain high-quality output.
• Record all completed tasks using electronic production stamps for traceability and quality assurance.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements by analyzing performance metrics and suggesting changes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain both electronic and physical records accurately as required by the process.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned to support production goals.

• Execute primarily semi-routine tasks while recognizing when alternate approaches may be needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, capable of setting priorities and managing time effectively.

• Understand that decisions impact the department and that mistakes could result in time and resource loss or decrease in customer satisfaction.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' relevant experience in related production or assembly roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

Physical and Work Conditions

• The role may require standing for extended periods and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work location is based in Changi South, Singapore.
• Standard five-day workweek schedule.
