Production Engineer

Overview

An established manufacturing and exports company based in Ludhiana is looking to hire a Production Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and have experience ranging from 1 to 3 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee overall production by monitoring process controls and ensuring quality standards.
• Manage procurement of raw materials essential for production.
• Diagnose and resolve production-related product issues through troubleshooting.
• Coordinate various administrative functions within the organization.
• Provide guidance to personnel for effective operation, servicing, and maintenance of machines.
• Plan and execute production schedules while supervising the team.
• Maintain 5S workplace organization and promote continuous improvement activities among staff.
• Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
• Contribute to new product development efforts.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures to reduce in-house rejections.
• Reduce machine setup time by optimizing processes.
• Drive shop floor improvements by applying Kaizen methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant production experience.
• Proficient communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email, and general computer operations.

Compensation and Work Location

Monthly salary ranges between 15,000 to 25,000 INR. The position is based onsite in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.
