Role Overview
We are seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support our global manufacturing by ensuring timely material availability, effective supplier coordination, and superior procurement practices within a dynamic supply chain. This position requires collaboration with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal departments to uphold supply continuity, optimize costs, and facilitate manufacturing and new product introductions.
Responsibilities
- Track demand forecasts, supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and order confirmations aligned with production needs.
- Generate, oversee, and update purchase orders for Factory and Contract Manufacturers to satisfy manufacturing timelines.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers and vendors to resolve shortages, expedite supplies, and manage risk mitigation efforts.
- Maintain detailed procurement information such as pricing calendars, supplier data, lead times, and cost summaries.
- Support inventory management by analyzing supply-demand alignment and highlighting potential supply gaps.
- Assist in new product introduction including readiness, supplier onboarding, and material planning.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics to foster accountability and continuous enhancement.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by analyzing pricing, engaging suppliers, and improving procurement workflows.
- Keep abreast of supplier allocations, capacity limits, tariffs, and market factors that could influence material availability.
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, operations, finance, and manufacturing to meet business objectives.
- Prepare reports on material status, shortages, procurement efficiency, and supplier conditions.
- Escalate procurement issues promptly and coordinate solutions with relevant teams to uphold financial and customer commitments.
- Manage procurement requests and purchase orders within the Coupa system ensuring compliance with company policies and contracts.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and overall operational performance.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, materials management, or manufacturing operations.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain workflows including procurement processes, inventory control, demand planning, and supplier management.
- Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers and international suppliers in technology, electronics, or manufacturing contexts.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proficient with ERP systems and supply chain planning software.
- Advanced skills in Excel and data analytics.
- Ability to multitask and deliver results under fast-paced and changing conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for engagement with global and cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and a proactive mindset for issue resolution.
- Valuable to have experience supporting new product introductions.
- Additional expertise in supplier performance monitoring, cost modeling, inventory optimization, and procurement best practices is beneficial.
- Awareness of global supply challenges such as allocation management, logistics hurdles, and tariff impacts.

Work Environment
