Procurement Officer

Overview

SWAN Properties, part of Mabani Al Jazeera Holding Group, is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to manage purchasing and supplier relations for its real estate projects and operations. This role requires expertise in procurement processes, supplier engagement, negotiation, and coordination with multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement all procurement activities related to projects and operational needs.
• Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure optimum terms.
• Create RFQs, conduct commercial comparisons, and formulate procurement recommendations.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules.
• Collaborate extensively with technical teams, finance departments, and project managers.
• Track supplier performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and quality specifications.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and enhance procurement efficiency.
• Keep accurate procurement documentation and produce regular reports.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in procurement roles.
• Prior experience in real estate, construction, or property development sectors is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated negotiation, analytical thinking, and supplier management capabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
