Role Overview
The Procurement Executive plays a pivotal role in overseeing operations across 23 Collection Centres (CCs). This leadership position requires ensuring seamless end-to-end procurement activities including article receipt, grading, packing, and prompt dispatch to fulfillment centres (FCs).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily procurement activities in 2–3 Collection Centres.
- Lead and coordinate the field procurement team to guarantee clear task delegation and execution.
- Own the entire process from article arrival at CCs to dispatch at FCs.
- Ensure materials arrive and shipments leave on schedule based on established cut-off timelines.
- Oversee material availability, quality control, grading, packaging, and readiness for dispatch.
- Collaborate with team members and suppliers/farmers to fulfill 100% of planned demand.
- Monitor fill-rate indicators and proactively implement measures to address any shortages.
- Submit punctual daily reports detailing fill rates, arrivals, shortfalls, and overall operational metrics.
- Work closely with fulfillment centres, quality control, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth dispatch and reduce quality-related rejections.
- Identify operational deficiencies on the ground and initiate timely corrective actions.
- Maintain strict compliance with procurement, quality, and operational standard operating procedures across all assigned collection centres.
