Job description
Overview
Join a dynamic team in Galway, Ireland, focused on advanced medical technology production. This position offers the chance to apply your troubleshooting expertise and work on manufacturing life-saving medical devices, all while being part of a close collaborative team.
Primary Duties
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct preventive maintenance; escalate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance teams as needed.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze and address equipment- and process-related scrap and yield challenges.
- Collaborate closely with a team of about six Technicians and Production Core Teams across several key processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using internal systems, provide yield updates via PowerPoint, and manage shift handovers through Teams and Excel.
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards in all tasks performed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong aptitude for problem solving and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience or familiarity with electrical or mechanical systems is highly valuable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good communication skills.
- Willingness and capacity to learn new tools and systems; SQL training will be offered.
