Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Probenehmer:in (Sample Collector) for environmental measurements across Germany, preferably near Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Kaiserslautern, or Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental sampling at rail traffic facilities, focusing mainly on mineral waste such as ballast, construction debris, and asphalt.
- Collaborate in pairs to collect samples nationwide, using a company vehicle equipped with necessary tools and devices.
- Coordinate on-site with construction supervisors, safety personnel, and clients to ensure safe and professional sample collection at stations or tracks.
- Document sampling and measurement results thoroughly and assist in preparing and reviewing contract-related documents and deliverables.
- Undertake installation-related tasks involving extended driving, sample collection outside standard working hours, multi-day stays on-site, and heavy lifting.
- Maintain and service work equipment and tools regularly.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably in a technical field such as environmental protection assistant, professional driver, or mechatronics technician.
- Valid driving license class B is required.
- Practical hands-on skills with a solid technical understanding and willingness to work physically.
- Flexible for weekly nationwide travel Monday through Friday, including overnight stays; comfortable with night and weekend assignments.
- Team-oriented attitude with enthusiasm for learning new skills.
