Role Summary
We seek a Principal Software Engineer (AI) to define and lead the technical vision of our products and platform. This role demands guiding architectural choices across multiple teams and collaborating closely with engineering and customer delivery to build persona-based AI Co-Workers that automate complex operational workflows within secure enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design for AI Co-Worker systems, enabling enterprise customers to deploy persona-driven AI workflows on a secure platform.
- Create human-in-the-loop systems that ensure human oversight in mission-critical AI operations.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and development patterns for engineering teams.
- Innovate on combining deterministic and non-deterministic components in production-level AI products.
- Maintain platform flexibility by integrating large language models and AI frameworks from diverse established and emerging suppliers.
- Engage with customers closely to understand their requirements and deliver solutions surpassing expectations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over 10 years of professional software development with significant applied AI expertise.
- Strong programming foundation, primarily using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with AI frameworks and orchestration technologies such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Demonstrated capability in designing systems prioritizing security and data governance from the outset.
- Proven history of influencing and defending architectural decisions in complex production environments.
- Excellent communication skills to align both technical and business stakeholders on challenging trade-offs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with persistence in execution.
