About the Role
This role supports the Press Department by assisting in planning and executing all press activities across the Middle East region for Hermès. Reporting directly to the Press and Media Manager based in Dubai, the incumbent plays a vital role in delivering the yearly department strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Press and Media Manager in implementing the annual press strategy.
- Monitor print, online, and social media channels; maintain and update the press database; and identify leading opinion leaders and key press contacts relevant to Hermès’ product categories.
- Develop and nurture relationships with leading press members and influential key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Achieve departmental key performance indicators, including Advertising Value Equivalency (AVE).
- Coordinate and manage press trips end-to-end within budget, including agenda planning, travel arrangements, and distribution of welcome materials; prepare detailed post-trip reports summarizing media coverage.
- Arrange and facilitate interviews, ensuring smooth execution and timely publication in line with schedules.
- Create and distribute press materials punctually, aligned with the communication calendar; develop press releases and oversee official photo shoots by selecting photographers and managing budgets.
- Support planning and execution of local and global press events; handle invitation processes, guest list creation, stakeholder briefings, and manage event-specific press budgets.
- Prepare comprehensive press and social media coverage reports, including events, product seedings, and media clippings.

Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a Press Executive or Press Intern, preferably with a globally recognized brand.
- Proficient with digital and social media platforms while maintaining enthusiasm for traditional print media.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to change.
- Experienced in managing both internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Fluent in English language.
