Role Overview
The Pre-Delivery Inspector plays a key role in verifying that every vehicle meets stringent quality, safety, and presentation benchmarks before reaching customers. This is a full-time position located onsite in Bhopal, involving comprehensive vehicle inspections that cover mechanical and electrical systems, accessories, and documentation accuracy. The inspector collaborates closely with the service and sales teams to address any issues found during evaluations and ensures that vehicles are clean, fueled, and fully prepared for customer handover. Maintaining meticulous records of findings and corrective actions is also a critical aspect of the role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in vehicle and general inspections with strong attention to detail and compliance with manufacturer and dealership guidelines.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance processes, including fundamental mechanical and electrical system checks and upkeep routines.
- Effective communication abilities to interact with sales, service, and delivery personnel and clearly document inspection results.
- A customer-centric attitude aimed at delivering vehicles in prime condition and contributing to a positive delivery experience.
- Prior experience in automobile dealerships or service centers, especially with Tata Motors vehicles, is advantageous.
- Ability to adhere to operational protocols and utilize basic computer skills for maintaining inspection records.
- Educational background typically includes a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in automotive technology or related areas are beneficial.
