Position Overview

Cranfield Group is collaborating with a fabrication company located on the Sunshine Coast that has secured multiple new contracts and projects. They are looking to employ a skilled and experienced Powdercoater to join their dynamic team immediately on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to aluminium fence panels, balustrades, screens, posts, and long extrusions.
• Carry out pre-treatment processes, hanging, wrapping, and the coating application.
• Ensure the work area is maintained clean and safe at all times.
• Operate and keep equipment and tools in good working order.
• Collaborate productively within a team environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in powder coating with strong attention to detail is essential.
• Capability to undergo and pass Drug & Alcohol testing.
• Proficient knowledge in powder coating of aluminium and sheet metal.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Awareness and adherence to established safety protocols.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude to complete tasks efficiently.
• References and contact details from the two most recent employers are required.
• Demonstrated initiative to assist with other tasks within the workshop as needed.
