Position Summary

The Porter will perform essential groundskeeping and cleaning duties at the property under the supervisor’s direction. The role requires consistent maintenance of outdoor and indoor areas to uphold property standards and appeal. Key activities include waste removal, preparing trash for collection, mopping, sweeping, day-to-day cleaning of assigned zones, and basic upkeep between scheduled landscaping services.

Responsibilities

• Complete all daily checklists to maintain the property’s curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-maintained, including swimming pool cleaning as needed.
• Uphold landscaping standards between vendor visits.
• Arrange and maintain furniture on the premises as instructed.
• Perform daily mopping and vacuuming in assigned spaces ensuring amenity areas remain tidy and welcoming throughout the day.
• Ensure product displays and property presentation meet company brand standards at all times.
• Fulfill full scheduled shifts onsite and be available for extra hours, including evenings, weekends, overtime, and move-in/move-out support as needed.
• Regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds, requiring physical exertion such as bending and stooping throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in simple computer operations.
• Minimum one year of experience in maintenance work or a skilled trade.
• Experience within student housing or multifamily residential environments is advantageous.

Employment Details

• Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• This role does not have direct reports.

Compensation and Benefits

• The hourly pay rate is USD 23.00.
