Role Overview

Our client, a US-based Health Tech company, is revolutionizing behavioral health through a cloud-based SaaS platform designed to improve care provider outcomes and streamline operations. We are transitioning our automation testing framework from Selenium to Playwright and require a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to join our Hyderabad team, working collaboratively to deliver real-world problem solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web UI testing using .Net, C#, and Playwright or Selenium.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs via tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Leverage API automation testing tools such as Rest Assured, Karate, or Newman for validated API testing including request/response schema, authentication, and data integrity.
  • Implement database validations through SQL queries.
  • Integrate QA automation suites with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Analyze test outcomes, identify defects, and manage issue resolution.
  • Prepare comprehensive test documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience scripting automation tests for web applications with Selenium or Playwright.
  • Proficient in .Net fundamentals and C# programming to effectively build automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and software testing life cycles.
  • Experience in developing API automation test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON/XML formatting, and relevant validation techniques.
  • Hands-on ability with database operations and SQL query scripting.
  • Competent in agile development environments collaborating with developers, product owners, and QA teams.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, analytical mindset, and communication skills.
