Role Overview
The Platform Administrator holds administrative rights on a client-managed translation management platform and oversees the configuration, permissions, and operational health of this environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operator configurations, user accounts, and fine-grained task permissions within the program workspace.
- Set up projects incorporating various language pairs, quality assurance profiles, and workflow templates.
- Maintain and manage translation memories and term bases, including handling imports and exports.
- Serve as the primary contact for resolving access problems, permission errors, and technical issues, escalating to platform owners as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive audit records of user access rights, ensuring prompt revocation upon assignment completion.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of experience administering enterprise Translation Management Systems or comparable workflow platforms.
- Strong understanding of role-based access control principles and the responsibilities entailed by holding administrative privileges.
- Ability to effectively operate within systems governed by external owners.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with TMX, TBX, XLIFF, and SRX file formats.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or API integration.
Compensation and Location
Annual remuneration ranges from ₹800,000 to ₹1,400,000 depending on experience and current compensation. The position is based onsite in Mumbai and reporting to the Programme Delivery Manager. One vacancy is available.
