Primary Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee Oil Wharf and plant facilities following HPCL guidelines.
• Closely monitor vital plant parameters and execute scheduled field inspections.
• Supervise tanker loading and unloading operations along with shipping line pressure.
• Coordinate all tanker berthing and hose connection/disconnection activities.
• Keep accurate logs, monitoring records, and maintain shift handover documentation.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards like leaks or pressure faults.
• Perform gas testing procedures required for hot work, confined spaces, and excavation permits.
• Collect line samples as per the specified timetable.
• Continuous equipment monitoring with prompt reporting for necessary corrective measures.
• Collaborate effectively with HPCL officers, supervisors, and marine staff during routine and emergency scenarios.
• Ensure operations comply with safety, environmental, and reliability standards.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and adhere strictly to HPCL’s safety and security protocols.
• Follow all permit workflows, safety rules, and regulatory mandates.

Work Schedule and Training

• The role operates on a rotational 24x7 basis, with three shifts each lasting 8 hours.
• A mandatory one-week training session is provided before assuming responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a B.Sc degree in Science or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
