It offers automated tools and streamlined processes to ease placement management for educational institutions, employers, and students alike, resulting in a more efficient placement experience.
Role Overview
The Placement Coordinator plays a vital full-time role overseeing the entire placement process for students and partner companies. Key duties include collaborating with RTOs and industry contacts, matching candidates to suitable opportunities, monitoring placement developments, and meticulously updating the placement portal. This position also involves responding to student inquiries, advising on placement preparedness, and organizing interviews or onboarding events with employers. Additionally, the coordinator supports enhancements to placement procedures, assists reporting tasks, and contributes to improving the overall placement experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication and coordination between students, RTOs, and industry partners to support placement activities.
- Identify suitable placement opportunities and match candidates effectively.
- Monitor and track the progress of placements using the platform's tools.
- Respond to student questions and provide advice on preparation for placements.
- Arrange interviews and onboarding sessions with employers.
- Support process improvements within the placement system and assist with generating reports.
- Collaborate in a hybrid working environment to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, RTO staff, and industry partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to manage coordination and stakeholder expectations.
- Background knowledge or experience in education or training environments to understand learner pathways.
- Organizational and time management capabilities.
- Experience in placement, career services, or related areas is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using online portals or CRM systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid remote and onsite setting.
Additional Information
The role requires working remotely starting at 4:30 AM and onsite hours from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Abbottabad Tehsil, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Candidates with at least one year of experience are preferred, though fresh graduates from reputable universities are encouraged to apply.
