Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, dispense, and manage medications and prescriptions in a timely manner.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels for medication and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient requirements.
- Provide friendly, proactive counseling to patients regarding their medications, ensuring clear understanding and compliance.
- Raise customer awareness and promote health education through public relations initiatives like health days and clinics.
- Efficiently address patient and physician inquiries or issues with positive resolutions.
- Monitor and control dispensing costs across the pharmacy department.
- Offer ongoing training and support to pharmacy staff including technicians, interns, students, and others.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacists license is mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills paired with high professionalism.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in performance management.
- Proven success in applying community-based marketing strategies to develop business.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills with experience in creating and implementing action plans.
- Proficiency in computer applications, preferably including Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer systems.

Compensation
The hourly wage ranges from $54.00 to $69.85, dependent on the candidate’s experience, expertise, and the location of the position.
