About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Pensions Administrator to join a respected, award-winning pensions consultancy based in Darlington. This permanent role involves hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, offering a competitive salary between 30,000 and 30,000-40,000 depending on experience, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and growing pensions administration team responsible for servicing Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes. The organization emphasizes professional development, long-term career growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calculations to determine member benefit entitlements accurately.
  • Address inquiries from pension members, trustees, and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare and organize pension-related documents and data systematically.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records for members.
  • Ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory standards for all tasks.
  • Provide outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience specifically in administering Defined Benefit pension schemes is essential.
  • Previous exposure to pensions administration roles is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences is vital.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude is expected.
