Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Pediatrician to work on-site in Riyadh at Alshablan Medical Group. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities encompass routine physical exams, monitoring growth and developmental progress, diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic illnesses, and administering preventive care such as immunizations and health education.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough physical assessments on pediatric patients.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe appropriate treatment plans and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure integrated patient care.
- Communicate effectively with families to offer guidance and support.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records.
- Follow clinical protocols and comply with regulatory standards.
Qualified Background
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Valid or obtainable medical license to practice in Riyadh.
- Clinical expertise in medicine and primary care with an emphasis on evidence-based treatments.
- Experience or specialized training in neonatology, including care for high-risk and premature newborns.
- Previous pediatric practice experience within hospitals or clinics; multidisciplinary group experience is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills including electronic medical records use.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting compassionately with children and families.
- Knowledge of Arabic and English is advantageous.
- Commitment to ethical practices, patient safety, and ongoing professional growth.
