About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Manager for an expanding company in the green energy and clean technology sector based in Limerick, Ireland. This pivotal role within the finance team demands a highly organised, proactive individual dedicated to producing accurate payroll under strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preparation and processing of payrolls with multiple frequencies under tight deadlines.
- Supervise both weekly and monthly payroll cycles for Ireland and the UK.
- Handle bank uploads for employee salary payments as necessary.
- Introduce effective controls to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Work closely with HR, IT, and Finance departments to develop and implement a comprehensive integrated payroll system.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to payroll staff.
- Collaborate with HR to manage compensation and benefits plan administration and amendments.
- Administer employee expense payments.
- Ensure precise reporting for all Revenue and HMRC compliance requirements.
- Generate and assess data to support audit activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possession of an IPASS payroll qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years payroll experience, preferably within a large corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish payroll procedures and HR policies; experience with UK payroll is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Compensation & Location
This permanent position is based onsite in Limerick city. The salary range is approximately €70,000 to €80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with additional benefits.
