Job description
Role Overview
The Payroll Executive will oversee comprehensive payroll tasks related to outsourced staff members deployed across client sites including AIIMS, Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, and the Indian Space Research Organisation. This role demands managing attendance collection, employee data verification, salary processing, statutory compliance, and invoicing clients according to contractual terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect attendance records monthly from clients and verify data with onsite employees and supervisors.
- Process payroll by calculating salaries with all components such as basic pay, allowances, overtime, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, among others, coordinating with accounts and HR for timely submissions.
- Prepare and issue client invoices based on verified attendance and manpower deployed, aligning with contract stipulations.
- Coordinate with client contacts for attendance sign-off and invoice validation while collaborating internally with HR, Accounts, and Operations teams.
- Maintain precise payroll documentation, attendance logs, statutory records, and generate monthly management reports on payroll, workforce deployment, and billing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Human Resources, or related discipline.
- Additional certification in Payroll or HR operations considered advantageous.
- Possess 2 to 6 years of payroll management experience, ideally within manpower outsourcing or facilities management sectors.
- Experience handling payroll for multiple large client locations is preferred.
Core Skills
- Expertise in payroll calculations and salary administration.
- Proficiency in client billing and invoice preparation procedures.
- Strong knowledge of statutory obligations including PF, ESIC, and labour legislation.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with payroll software applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Effective coordination and communication capabilities.
Preferred Profile
- Experience managing payroll for government or public sector undertaking clients.
- Capability to handle payroll for extensive employee populations and multiple clients simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on thorough documentation.
