Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Executive with solid expertise in UAE payroll procedures, particularly focusing on End of Service (EOS) benefits and medical health insurance management. This role demands accurate and punctual payroll processing, employee benefit administration, final settlements, and collaboration with multiple departments such as HR, Finance, insurance partners, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly payroll processing efficiently and with precision for all staff members.
- Prepare and validate payroll input data, encompassing attendance records, overtime, leave, deductions, allowances, commissions, and other adjustments.
- Maintain detailed and confidential payroll records for all employees.
- Calculate EOS benefits, final settlements, leave salaries, and related entitlements following UAE Labour Law and company guidelines.
- Prepare final payment settlements for employees leaving the company due to resignation, termination, or contract completion.
- Liaise with HR concerning employee lifecycle events including onboarding, resignations, terminations, salary revisions, promotions, and internal transfers impacting payroll.
- Ensure correct implementation of WPS payroll and cooperate with Finance to ensure timely salary distribution.
- Address employee inquiries about salaries, deductions, leave pay, EOS benefits, and settlement matters.
- Reconcile payroll documentation with Finance and swiftly resolve discrepancies.
- Manage employee medical insurance affairs including enrollments, cancellations, updates, renewals, and coordination with insurers and brokers.
- Track and document insurance policies, enrolled employees, dependents, and insurance cards accurately.
- Support and coordinate annual medical insurance renewal procedures, including obtaining quotes and necessary paperwork from providers.
- Monitor timely insurance coverage compliance for qualifying employees.
- Compile comprehensive reports on payroll, EOS, insurance, and employee benefits for management review.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing relevant payroll, EOS, insurance, and employee documents.
- Ensure all payroll and benefit operations comply fully with UAE Labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain utmost confidentiality regarding employee salary, personal data, insurance, and other sensitive details.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience managing payroll functions, preferably within the UAE environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in UAE payroll systems, WPS, EOS benefit calculations, final settlements, and health insurance administration.
- Sound understanding of UAE Labour Law and statutory employee rights.
- Proven background in managing medical health insurance programs, including enrollments, cancellations, renewals, and liaison with insurance agencies.
- Strong numerical aptitude with keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel along with payroll and HR information systems; familiarity with ERP software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain high confidentiality standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills coupled with the ability to meet tight payroll timelines.
- Experience working with Odoo software is required.
- Previous UAE-related payroll experience is highly valued.
