About The Role
Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick (BBK) is collaborating with the MEH Alliance on the Hinkley Point C project. We're seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our team, responsible for managing and compiling time and attendance data to support payroll processing. This role involves close communication with site personnel and employees to ensure accurate payroll operations and address any pay-related concerns promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll tasks utilizing the Kronos Time & Attendance platform.
- Handle onboarding of new staff and processing of departures within payroll systems.
- Track and manage records related to sickness, holidays, and absences.
- Administer travel, fare, and lodging entitlements.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or questions related to payroll and timesheets.
- Process necessary payroll corrections and manual timesheet entries.
- Coordinate with supervisors and employees to guarantee accurate payroll data submissions.
- Promote employee wellbeing by addressing payroll issues in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 certification or comparable experience.
- Proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office, including Excel and data analysis.
- Previous exposure to payroll, recruitment, workforce administration, or managing large volumes of timesheets.
- Excellent communication capabilities that foster relationship building at all organizational levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Experience in engineering construction, industrial projects, or related fields such as NAECI or JIB is advantageous.
- Capability to obtain required security clearance.
