This opportunity as Payroll Coordinator involves managing payroll operations for approximately 2,000 Canadian employees and being part of a national payroll administration team responsible for timely and accurate processing and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and within deadlines.
- Handle all payroll-related case management activities efficiently.
- Calculate gross-to-net pay and ensure payroll reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues involving multiple stakeholders such as Talent, Legal, and Benefits providers.
- Prepare and submit payroll deductions and remittance documents as required.
- Complete year-end payroll activities and reporting.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a large multi-jurisdictional payroll environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Possession or progress towards Canadian Payroll Association certification.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a valuable asset, especially when interacting with national and global clients.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft payroll software is considered advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a salary between 47000 and 78000 CAD annually. Employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses.
