Job description

Role Overview

We seek a meticulous Payroll Analyst to oversee comprehensive payroll operations across multiple EMEA territories, ensuring timely and accurate processing for employees in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Spain, and other regions as needed. This full-time contract role involves managing the payroll lifecycle from data validation through final reporting, with a focus on precision and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complete payroll processing for several EMEA countries.
  • Support the payroll cycle including preparation, validation, processing, reconciliation, and reporting phases.
  • Process payroll information accurately within designated deadlines.
  • Examine payroll data to detect and correct any discrepancies before completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external payroll service providers to resolve payroll queries.
  • Assist in payroll reconciliations, reporting, and related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure all payroll procedures conform to local legal requirements and company policies.
  • Provide prompt support for payroll-related inquiries and urgent matters.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven expertise in managing full-cycle payroll processing.
  • Extensive international payroll experience within the EMEA region.
  • Hands-on knowledge specifically of payroll in Germany, UK, Ireland, and Spain highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payroll procedures including processing, reconciliation, reporting, and data validation.
  • Capacity to handle multiple payroll deadlines and conflicting priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to maintaining payroll accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, deadline-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable

  • Experience collaborating with international payroll vendors or providers.

Additional Information

This is a contract position running through October 30, 2026. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM GMT. Candidates must be based in Ireland to qualify for this 100% remote role.
