Job description
Overview
Leicestershire Police and Derbyshire Constabulary require a Payroll Administrator to ensure their payroll processes are executed efficiently and accurately. This role involves applying relevant Police Regulations, Staff Terms and Conditions, force policies, and local agreements for processing payroll data for police officers and staff across both forces.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate payroll activities with HR and financial management teams.
- Update pension contributions and manage voluntary, involuntary, and statutory deductions.
- Investigate and resolve queries related to year-end payroll processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum GCSE grade C/4 in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Level 3 Certificate in Payroll Administration or comparable experience.
- Proven ability to input large volumes of data and perform complex gross-to-net salary calculations rapidly and accurately.
