Job description

About Truestory

Truestory is a curated marketplace offering unique experiences and experiential gifts. Originating from Denmark, where it has been thriving for over ten years, the company recently expanded into Germany. As a young and dynamic team, Truestory is currently undergoing an exciting growth phase, building the German market from scratch.

Role Overview

As a Partnership Manager, you will represent Truestory to experience hosts across Germany. You will play a key role in deciding which experiences are featured on the platform by establishing long-term, trustworthy partner relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and identify the most appealing and promising experience providers (hosts) in Germany.
  • Reach out to potential hosts via email, phone, video calls, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Acquire new hosts for the Truestory platform and ensure a smooth, high-quality onboarding process.
  • Collaborate closely with Content and Operations teams to bring each new experience to life on the platform, including text creation, visual content, and setup.
  • Support hosts post-onboarding by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting their success.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with your portfolio of hosts and identify opportunities to expand partnerships.
  • Represent Truestory in Germany professionally, with enthusiasm and passion for authentic experiences.

Candidate Profile

  • Preferably 2 to 5 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
  • Proven experience with cold outreach; comfortable initiating contact with prospective partners and resilient in face of rejection.
  • Enjoyment of cold calling and negotiation skills to successfully close contracts.
  • Strong communication abilities, negotiation aptitude, and a structured, results-driven approach.
  • Fluent German required; English skills are an advantage.

What We Offer

  • A central role in developing the German market of a fast-growing, internationally successful company.
  • Substantial autonomy and the chance to directly influence the success of Truestory in Germany.
  • A young, motivated team with short decision-making processes.
