Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join an independent financial planning firm in Fleet, Hampshire. This role offers flexibility to work part-time and the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced financial advisers and senior paraplanners. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the advisory process by researching financial solutions, preparing comprehensive suitability reports, and helping to deliver excellent client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with financial advisers to support client advice preparations.
- Conduct detailed research on pensions, investments, and tax planning strategies.
- Create high-quality suitability reports tailored to individual client needs.
- Engage with a team of senior paraplanners to discuss and develop financial planning ideas.
- Utilize financial planning software effectively, with training provided if necessary.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess Level 4 Diploma qualification or be actively pursuing relevant certifications (CII, CISI, or LIBF).
- Proven experience working as a paraplanner in an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) or wealth management environment.
- Strong technical expertise in pensions, investments, and tax planning sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed suitability reports.

- Annual salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000.
- Options for full-time or part-time arrangements (either four full days or five shorter days).
