Role Overview

The Owner position at Amazon MENA is a dedicated full-time onsite role based in Sharjah. This role carries end-to-end responsibility for a specific business segment or portfolio, managing daily operations including planning, execution, and performance measurement to achieve or surpass business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budget management, track critical business metrics, and resolve operational challenges.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between logistics, customer service, marketing, and finance teams.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and identify potential avenues for growth.
• Make informed decisions grounded in data analysis to elevate customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, conduct thorough risk assessments, and communicate status updates effectively to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading a business unit, product line, or operational function with demonstrable results.
• Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable interpreting data, KPIs, and dashboards for decision-making.
• Effective leadership abilities including teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and influence without direct authority.
• Comprehensive knowledge of e-commerce, retail, or operations within dynamic, fast-growing settings.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an asset.
• Capability to operate in a fast-paced onsite environment in Sharjah, handling multiple priorities with agility.
• Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Business, Management, Economics, or Engineering; advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience in the MENA region, with understanding of local consumer behavior, regulatory matters, and market dynamics is advantageous.
