Job description
Job Opportunity
Join the copper bars and motor components department performing various operational tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Set up robotic equipment for insulation processes.
- Program machinery for multiple copper bar models.
- Clean copper bars prior to insulation.
- Measure using tools such as calipers, tape measures in both imperial and metric units.
- Prepare insulating rollers and casing materials.
- Apply insulation to copper bars using mica and resin.
- Perform insulation wrapping manually or with robotic assistance.
- Conduct oven curing of insulated bars (programming training provided).
- Clean and inspect bars post-process using pneumatic rotary tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the working area.
- Transport materials utilizing overhead cranes and pallet trucks.
Candidate Profile
- High school diploma (Secondary 5) or equivalent.
- Resourceful and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Basic computer skills; programming knowledge is a plus.
- Manual dexterity is essential.
- Comfortable with repetitive routine work.
- Prior experience operating machinery is advantageous.
- Knowledge of manual insulation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans.
