Role Overview
The Operations/Transportation Technician I, reporting to the Stability Lead, will coordinate and administer deliveries between Q1 Scientific and client locations, manage sample handling, and support operational activities to meet quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect customer deliveries at Q1 Scientific, ensuring any discrepancies are noted and that deliveries are stored securely and appropriately according to customer, regulatory, and quality guidelines.
- Manage retrieval, packing, and return delivery of samples to customers.
- Conduct daily inspections of stability cabinets and environmental room conditions.
- Perform equipment calibrations and temperature/humidity mappings after training.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and adhere to equipment maintenance schedules aligned with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Liaise with external consultants and contractors as needed.
- Support general administrative tasks as required.
- Collect, load, deliver, and return samples to customer sites across Ireland, ensuring timely deliveries and proper documentation.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly, complying with road laws and company policies.
- Ensure all processes comply with Q1 Scientific quality standards, cGMP regulations, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and manage reports addressing quality deviations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid full clean driving license with driving experience.
- Experience with standard operating procedures in regulated environments is desirable but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in picking and packing materials.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to complete quality reports and documentation accurately.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional requirements outside these hours.
