Job description

Overview

We are seeking an Operations Consultant to collaborate closely with the Operations Supervisor in managing stockroom organization and merchandise maintenance at our Lethbridge, Alberta location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, approachable, and informed client service during store hours.
  • Support in training fellow cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the cashier area respecting store presentation standards.
  • Adhere to and uphold Sephora's merchandising concepts.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing inventory loss and shortages.
  • Carry out timely processing and receipt of incoming shipments.
  • Ensure stockroom is orderly and compliant with company guidelines.
  • Handle merchandise transfers, manage damages, and process testers following company protocols.
  • Inspect visual display items and report any missing or damaged components to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Maintain safety and tidiness standards across all operational areas.
  • Communicate inventory-related concerns with supervisors and management staff.
  • Follow sampling policies and participate actively in inventory control processes.
  • Undergo cross-training in cashier functions if designated as a consultant.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in retail or client service, preferably with stockroom responsibilities.
  • Strong computer literacy coupled with solid arithmetic and organizational skills.
  • Capability to multi-task efficiently while attentively addressing client and business needs.
  • Effective skills in time management, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

  • Physical demands include working in a fragrance-laden environment.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stretching to stock shelves as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range is between CAD 17 and CAD 20, along with potential bonuses based on performance.
