Role Overview

As an Operational Services Officer, you will assist multiple service departments throughout Mount Isa Hospital. Operating within a fast-paced, around-the-clock setting, your contribution will ensure the effective daily function of hospital services while upholding a safe, welcoming, and efficient healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Availability for continuous shift work covering all shifts as per roster across various departments including Catering, Wardsperson, Laundry, and Cleaning Services.
• Physical capability to perform frequent repetitive lifting and manual handling of goods and patients.
• Adherence to the health service uniform dress code.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening including criminal history checks.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements related to VPD risk for diseases including Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
• Potential probationary period post-hiring.
