About the Role
This role is for an experienced professional proficient in Okta and Single Sign-On (SSO) identity federation solutions. It involves working primarily from Chennai or Hyderabad office locations. The candidate will engage with vendor platform updates, implement federated login systems, and support multi-factor authentication with device trust policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and utilize Okta platform capabilities including APIs and workflow automation.
- Implement and maintain federated and web-based Single Sign-On systems using Okta.
- Track, analyze, and communicate changes introduced by the Okta vendor to relevant stakeholders.
- Apply multi-factor authentication mechanisms and enforce device trust based access control.
- Support credential and password management within Okta infrastructure.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience working with Okta or equivalent SSO federation technologies.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
- Experience with background verification clearance processes and capability to provide validated employment documents such as UAN history or recent payslips.
- Willingness to serve with a maximum notice period of 30 days.
- Work location fixed at Chennai or Hyderabad with on-site attendance required.
Additional Information
This position is initially on contract under GC Technologies Pvt Ltd with the client being VARITE INDIA PVT LTD. Successful candidates will be transitioned to direct employment under TCS payroll after 3 to 6 months, contingent upon clearance of background verification checks.
