Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant who possesses in-depth knowledge and practical experience in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations involving Oracle Fusion modules like ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, as well as third-party systems. This position focuses on leveraging OIC capabilities to build robust integration solutions that facilitate smooth data flow and process automation across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive integration solutions utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud technologies.
- Create varied integration patterns including application-driven, scheduled, file-driven, and event-triggered workflows.
- Develop connectivity and workflows bridging Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM) and external software systems.
- Configure and utilize OIC adapters such as ERP, REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, Stage File, and HCM adapters.
- Design and consume APIs using REST and SOAP standards.
- Perform data transformations using XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, alongside OIC mapping tools.
- Participate actively in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, hypercare phases, and ongoing production support.
- Troubleshoot integration failures by monitoring OIC instances and conducting root cause analysis to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to design and implement effective integration solutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud platform.
- Demonstrated expertise integrating various Oracle Fusion Cloud applications including ERP, HCM, and SCM.
- Strong command over RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services development and consumption.
- Proficiency with Oracle-specific adapters such as ERP, FTP/SFTP, Stage File, and File Server.
- Knowledge and practical experience with data formats and transformation technologies: XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath.
- Experience using BI Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
- Good understanding and use of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in integration monitoring, handling errors, and managing reprocessing mechanisms within OIC.
- Involvement in at least one end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementation project.
