Odoo Techno-Functional Analyst

Role Overview

The Odoo Techno-Functional Analyst position is a full-time role based in Dubai, requiring onsite presence. The key responsibilities involve examining business processes, eliciting functional requirements, and translating these into Odoo ERP configurations and customizations, specifically focusing on operations related to spare parts, engines, and turbine services. The role includes configuring Odoo modules, performing functional testing, resolving issues, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance workflows and the overall system usability.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze and convert business requirements into both functional and technical ERP solutions.
• Configure, customize, and develop Odoo modules for Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and Manufacturing sectors.
• Lead and facilitate compliance with the UAE e-Invoicing mandate, including system integrations and regulatory alignment.
• Create and maintain custom Odoo applications utilizing Python.
• Develop integrations between Odoo and external third-party systems, APIs, and business software.
• Support ERP improvements, upgrades, testing cycles, deployments, and conduct user training sessions.
• Engage with business users to improve workflow efficiency and optimize operational procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve ongoing system-related issues, offering both technical and functional support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in Odoo ERP development combined with techno-functional consultancy.
• Demonstrate strong expertise with Odoo version 17 or higher and Python programming.
• Comprehend business processes in Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain domains.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and object-relational mapping concepts.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
• Knowledge of Odoo.sh platform, version control systems like Git, and enterprise Odoo editions.
• Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and the ability to map business processes accurately.
• Experience with UAE-specific e-Invoicing rules, VAT compliance regulations, and ERP integration projects is highly beneficial.
