Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the company’s servers, network components, and infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Regularly monitor system status, perform maintenance routines, optimize performance, and manage capacity planning.
- Oversee enterprise server platforms including Windows, Linux, and AIX, supporting both physical and virtual environments.
- Manage network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure continuous network connectivity and timely resolution of infrastructure issues to maintain organizational services.
- Implement security protocols including system hardening, patch deployment, and vulnerability management.
- Lead technical initiatives for infrastructure projects involving design, deployment, and implementation of new technologies.
- Administer backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies to uphold operational resilience.
- Maintain detailed documentation, inventories of hardware/software, and uphold technical standards throughout the infrastructure.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in infrastructure, network, or systems administration roles.
- Proficient in managing Windows, Linux, and AIX servers in both physical and virtualized environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, and enterprise server management.
- In-depth understanding of networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and voice systems.
- Experience in financial services or similarly regulated sectors is advantageous.
- Certifications like MCP, MCSA, or CCNA are preferred.
- Knowledge of Apache/Web-based servers, especially Oracle WebLogic, is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical problems decisively.
- Capability to juggle multiple projects, coordinate infrastructure tasks, and meet critical deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and business partners.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing work independently in a changing environment.
- Exemplifies good judgment, maintains confidentiality, accountability, and aligns with organizational values.
