Multiskilled Operative

About the Role

PrepWorld seeks Multiskilled Operatives to support various essential functions within a dynamic fresh cut fruit processing facility located in Northfleet, Gravesend. The role involves operating machinery, managing fruit transfers, completing traceability documentation, performing stock takes, and ensuring equipment availability.

Key Duties

• Operate processing machinery efficiently to maintain production flow.
• Handle and transfer fruit across different production stages.
• Maintain accurate traceability paperwork to support product tracking.
• Conduct regular stock counts for inventory management.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is positioned correctly for operational needs.

Candidate Profile

• Dependable, adaptable, and able to take initiative in solving problems.
• Comfortable working collaboratively within team settings.
• Possess fundamental English language and numeracy skills.
• Capable of handling physical tasks such as lifting heavy fruit boxes.

Training and Support

Comprehensive training on all assigned activities will be provided to ensure you are confident in your role.

Work Schedule

Shifts run Sunday through Wednesday from 17:30 to 05:30 (night shift), following a four days on, three days off rotation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage at Level 1: 13.58.
