Job description
Role Overview
Paul Davis Restoration of the National Capital Region, VA seeks a dedicated Mitigation Technician to join their team in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. This role involves serving the community by helping mitigate damage from disasters such as floods and fires, working under the guidance of the Mitigation Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation, board-up, tarping, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, as well as carpet cleaning and reinstallation according to company and industry standards.
- Exhibit excellent customer service with a focus on supporting clients during difficult times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company trucks and equipment.
- Be reachable by phone and participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Assist with warehousing and other facility duties when necessary.
- Support and lead team members as opportunities arise.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong desire to be part of a world-class team with a positive mindset.

- Proficiency in English.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when needed.
- Physical ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
