Role Overview
The Millwright is tasked with identifying issues in machinery and performing repairs, overseeing installation of new equipment, and implementing enhancements to existing machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems efficiently, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Operate all workshop equipment and execute basic machining tasks adhering to safety, cleanliness, and efficiency standards.
- Utilize working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems utilized internally.
- Function independently with little supervision while maintaining productivity.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and operating manuals accurately.
- Maintain familiarity with plant machinery and its operation.
Candidate Requirements
- Must possess a valid Certification of Qualification as a Millwright.
- Have no less than five years of experience within an assembly or manufacturing setting.
