Merchandiser - Full Time Evening Shift

About the Role

Become a vital part of a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, delivering health, beauty, and convenience services with a customer-centric approach. This role supports overall store success by managing merchandising, receiving, and customer support functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange backroom products in compliance with Backroom Inventory Management processes.
• Utilize PDT and MMS systems to complete routine merchandising tasks.
• Manage product exit strategies and returns as directed.
• Maintain expert knowledge on assigned product inventory, placement, and monitor expiry dates.
• Uphold store standards regarding image and merchandising trends.
• Create consumer-friendly and accessible product displays.
• Receive merchandise following established policies, maintaining neat and organized backrooms consistent with organizational principles.
• Ensure correct documentation for merchandise receipt and returns.
• Support store management in maintaining quality standards.
• Present a clean and professional appearance adhering to uniform policies.
• Proactively assist customers on the sales floor.
• Comply with all health, safety, store standards, and loss prevention protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making ability.
• Efficient, well-organized, and maintains neatness.
• Adaptable to changing store floor situations.
• Accurate and efficient processing of customer orders when handling cash transactions.
• Basic computer and cash register skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain records effectively.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Flexible availability to work shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
