About the Role
We are seeking a commercially focused Merchandise Planner to enhance fashion distribution activities for both retail and e-commerce channels in a dynamic business environment based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the assortment planning for retail outlets and online platforms.
- Develop and monitor comprehensive sales, stock, and margin forecasts.
- Track weekly business performance and uncover areas for improvement.
- Control inventory to optimize the rate of sell-through effectively.
- Assist in open-to-buy (OTB) planning, revenue forecasting, and stock replenishment.
- Generate detailed reports and actionable insights, leveraging advanced Excel capabilities.
- Handle and analyze data meticulously within SAP systems.
- Collaborate closely with buying, sales, and supply chain departments to align strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in fashion merchandising, planning, or distribution roles.
- Solid comprehension of both retail and e-commerce operational frameworks.
- Practical exposure to SAP software for data management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups.
- An analytical thinker with keen attention to detail.
