Job description
Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Mechanical Watchmaker is to test and repair mechanical watches for both consumers and retail clients using designated equipment and techniques.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and repair of mechanical watches following established procedures and tools.
- Perform cleaning, adjustments, and precise calibration of watches to ensure functionality.
- Accurately prepare repair estimates that reflect the scope of required servicing.
- Uphold repair quality consistent with brand standards.
- Achieve assigned productivity targets within expected timelines.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong mechanical watch repair proficiency.
- Capability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Self-driven with the initiative to work independently.
Education and Experience
Possession of WOSTEP certification or a minimum of five years of experience in mechanical watch repair.
