Job Overview

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating employee master data within HR systems to ensure data accuracy, timely updates, robust reporting, and adherence to company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee master records in HR platforms following company protocols.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across multiple HR systems.
• Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify inaccuracies.
• Manage employee lifecycle data adjustments including hiring, transfers, promotions, and exits promptly.
• Assist with HR system upgrades and support data migration processes by preparing and verifying relevant information.
• Generate precise HR reports and handle data-related requests within agreed timeframes.
• Document data management standards and processes while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to align and manage employee data requirements effectively.

General Duties

• Continuously update both technical and soft skills required for the role.
• Execute planned assignments efficiently, adhering to schedule and budget constraints, and report deviations appropriately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Ensure implementation of quality control processes to maintain service standards.
• Promote business process optimization including the documentation of procedures and exploring automation opportunities.
• Adhere strictly to policies, work instructions, and relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Skills

• Data analysis and validation techniques.
• Knowledge of data dictionaries and quality assurance standards.
• Experience in data replication and maintaining data standards and procedures.
• Familiarity with relational databases and database platform management.
