Role Overview

Reporting to the Business Process Manager and embedded within the Finance team, the Systems Accountant is essential for overseeing Vitaco's ERP system and advancing process improvements. This role requires close collaboration across departments and strong accounting and finance expertise to ensure efficient data handling and project support that enhances business functions.

Key Duties

  • Oversee and maintain master data accuracy and documentation within ERP and reporting platforms.
  • Work alongside the Business Process Manager to identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency.
  • Create and conduct training programs for system users, continually updating instructional materials.
  • Serve as the principal finance systems expert during business projects and routine operations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of finance and business processes to preserve institutional knowledge and support smooth workflow.
  • Be flexible with working hours as needed for system upgrades, maintenance, or support, with expectations this will be minimal.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a degree in finance or accounting.
  • Possesses at least five years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with practical exposure to ERP and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Expertise in ERP system implementation, particularly with Navision ERP or Microsoft Dynamics, is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and multitasking capabilities, able to prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen interest in innovating and improving processes.
