Role Overview

The Strategy & Insights Manager will oversee strategy and insights for key assigned clients, delivering compelling new insights that fuel breakthrough thinking. The role involves enhancing strategic outputs, boosting creative effectiveness, and building trusted partnerships internally and with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate and actively utilize the Publicis Groupe FUEL platform.
  • Contribute inspiring insights in agency and Groupe OPEN briefs.
  • Analyze previous award-winning submissions to distill success attributes and share findings regularly.
  • Develop proactive client briefs based on well-qualified opportunities.
  • Lead client Effectiveness award submissions at regional and global levels; assist creative teams with creative award entries.
  • Ensure strategy is innovative and revelatory, focusing on meaningful insights rather than mere observations.
  • Continuously refine strategic thinking and briefing quality.
  • Participate promptly in internal and external trainings.
  • Encourage the team to integrate culture, technology, data, and design trends into strategic planning.
  • Create focused, insightful connection plans linked with creative briefs.
  • Manage both primary and secondary research for clients and agency initiatives.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to offer strategic guidance and creative inspiration.
  • Contribute to new business pitches through distinctive strategic input.

Business Acumen & Operational Duties

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of client industries and categories.
  • Ensure quality delivery and reviews of client work and pitch materials.
  • Prepare concise, compelling client presentations that enhance work positioning.
  • Conduct category and competitive landscape analyses.
  • Organize and actively engage in client workshops.
  • Monitor social, cultural, and technological trends impacting consumer attitudes and behaviors.
  • Facilitate team participation in client-led research.
  • Deliver detailed reports and updates with attention to accuracy.
  • Track campaign performance across brand, business, and media metrics; devise optimization strategies.
  • Foster and maintain proactive, knowledge-sharing client relationships based on trust and rapport.

Innovative & Analytical Approach

  • Design and implement original primary research methods generating actionable insights.
  • Distill complex information into compelling narratives and inspire creative opportunities.
  • Perform competitive analyses highlighting threats and opportunities and share insights across teams.
  • Develop engaging presentations with clear, distinctive narratives that surpass typical strategist expectations.
  • Maintain strategic focus across cross-functional teams and keep inspiration alive through proactive initiatives.
  • Build and sustain authentic trust with clients and agency teams through competence and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, research, data analytics, or business-related fields.
  • 5 to 6 years of relevant agency experience in similar strategic roles.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages.
  • Experience in airline, tourism, or telecommunications sectors is advantageous.
