About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned HR Manager to oversee all aspects of HR and administration within a garment manufacturing plant based in Rai, Sonipat, Haryana. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing large blue-collar workforces in the apparel sector, ensuring compliance with labor laws and driving effective employee engagement and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete Human Resources and Administration functions at the plant.
- Plan workforce requirements, deploy manpower effectively, and manage recruitment processes.
- Supervise attendance records, time office management, payroll inputs, shift scheduling, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, and other labor laws.
- Manage contract laborers and coordinate with labor contractors.
- Address employee relations issues including grievances, discipline, and maintain productive industrial relations.
- Lead employee engagement, welfare programs, retention strategies, and initiatives to boost productivity.
- Develop and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures, and performance management systems.
- Coordinate training programs, onboarding inductions, and skill development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with POSH guidelines, workplace safety standards, welfare activities, and statutory audits.
- Prepare and maintain HR management information systems, manpower reports, and management dashboards.
- Liaise with governmental bodies, auditors, and external agencies for compliance and audit purposes.
- Lead the HR and Administration team to facilitate smooth operations within the plant.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in HR within the garment/apparel manufacturing industry.
- Practical exposure to handling large-scale blue-collar workforce management.
- Excellent understanding of industrial relations and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and people leadership capabilities.
- Local candidates from Rai, Sonipat, Kundli, Narela, or Panipat regions preferred.
